Key to Tarot

Ancient Phoenician Tarot Reading

Your Tarot Reading accuracy starts with what you know about the origin of tarot.

Gypsy cards and Tarot seem to hold ancient secrets unknown to people in medieval times, suggesting an even older origin. To understand how old Tarot is, we can select any card. Here we are going to look at the card for the Wedding. What secrets does it hold?

HOW DO YOU READ THE WEDDING CARD, THE HIDDEN SYMBOLISM...

The Wedding refers to a union between opposing forces. It unveils the hidden —the birth of the universe — and, as above, so is below, reveals itself.

However, the card symbolises more than that; it speaks of the Cosmos and its achievement of balance by uniting the different elements, thereby creating life, earth, and us.

It speaks not only of a union between a man and a woman but also of how, through phylacteries (pilu-Alana Sanskrit), the fusion of atoms, called the Fire of the Sun (Agni), is achieved, and the balance is achieved, and the beginning of a new life. Hence, this card in tarot reading calls for balance in every aspect of our lives.

The Wedding also speaks of connection. That is, we cannot separate ourselves from Earth, the Sun, the Universe and all living things, because we are one. Hence, weddings or unions have a wide range of meanings, which you have to take into account when you read tarot.

TAROT EMPRESS

Tarot Empress Meaning

Element: Matter

The Tarot Empress is known as the Gate of Life.

THE EMPRESS IS CALLED EVA

The Empress is harmony and eternal knowledge, derived from the centre of consciousness through intuition. She is one of the primordial deities, known from ancient Greek mythology as Gaia from the Sanskrit word Gatra, the great mother of all: the creator and giver of heavenly gods, the Titans, and the Giants were born to her. The gods reigning over their classical pantheon from Sanskrit pauteo = foundation of a house, life was born, from her union with Adam (energy, the Sun). The Empress's name Eva derives from the Phoenician writing system, consisting of three letters, and each letter has a meaning.

2-QUEEN1

E = window, the letter V = copied matter, and A = creation.

TAROT-EMPRESS-EVA

The Emperor's triangle is pointing up, whilst the Empress (EVA) is a mirror of the Emperor, energy. In the same way, as the Sun reflected in the water appears to be many, matter reflected by frequency seems to be many life forms, hence the name Maya, illusion, reflection.

Once union takes place, it shows the birth of life, called the Crown, creation. It is usually represented by the letter E; energy = M matter, known as phylacteries from Sanskrit Pilu-alana, which translates to "atom fusion".

 EBOOK, KEY TO TAROT

The Key to Tarot is a playing card, combined with chess pieces, helping you to understand the oneness behind all these teaching tools. They are meant to guide you toward a better life, to think before you decide on your next step, not to end up in checkmate, known as the twenty-eight Circles of Hell, in a state of Malady. Yet if you learn to become a child again, your mind is open to learning to gain balance.
